In what is fast becoming a Pelham tradition, the Fonthill and district Kinettes are hosting their 2nd annual Pamper Me Sweet! spa day on Saturday, February 13, at Fonthill United Church. This year the event has grown from 25 to 35 vendors, providing a broad assortment of items and spa services to compliment any tastes.
“There are a lot of different vendors carrying a variety of items that will be of interest to women,” said Lola Bronn, one of the co-chairs of the event. Held the day before Valentine’s, Pamper me Sweet! provides the perfect opportunity for men to spoil that special someone to a day of relaxation and indulgence. “It is a Valentine’s Day spa day,” continued Bronn.
“It’s a nice day for guys to bring their favorite lady to come and pamper her.” Last year the event raised over $1500 for Women’s Place of South Niagara. Proceeds from this year’s event will go to Elisha House, a pregnancy and family support centre in Welland.
